'Guido' Allen Jeff Leisk, former MX star and long-term Managing
Director of KTM Australia, has struck out on his own as
national distributor for BSA motorcycles.
The historic British brand was revived by Classic
Legends, part of the Mahindra group, in 2022 with the
release of the 650 Gold Star single.
Two years later the Scrambler version was launched.
The company last year unveiled its third model, the 350
Bantam single.
A fourth model, the Thunderbolt 350 adventure tourer, was
launched last year at the annual EICMA show. All four
bikes are LAMs-approved.
Leisk held multiple national motocross championships and
was the first Australian rider to win an international MX
GP. Here he graces the September 1989 cover of Motocross
Action magazine, on his Honda CR500.
Now he runs Leisk Moto Imports out of Western Australia. “Our focus is to build a professional national dealer network and connect meaningfully with the dedicated BSA community across Australia. We look forward to supporting our dealer partners and delivering an exceptional ownership experience for Australian riders,” he said. The company expects to have bikes in the market in mid-2026. ------------------------------------------------- Produced by AllMoto abn 61 400 694 722 |
