leads Italian sale Auction Action June 19, 2026, by Guy 'Guido' Allen An exceptional 2001 Ducati 996R (above) was the star turn
for the recent Italian sports machine sale by Donington
Auctions in Australia. In what has otherwise proven to be a slow market, it went
for Au$64,000 (US$45,000, GB£34,000, €39,000).
Other notable results included the ultra-rare as-new 2006
Moto Guzzi MGS01 that went for Au$90,000 (US$63,000,
GB£48,000, €55,000)...
And the 2008 Ducati Desmosedici that fetched Au$115,000
(US$81,000, GB£61,000, €70,000).
Meanwhile a nicely-restored 1982 Ducati 900 MHR went for
Au$34,000 (US$24,000, GB£18,000, €21,000).
And something that caught our eye was this lovely 1973 MV
Agusta 350B Scrambler, which was a snip at Au$9500
(US$6700, GB£5000, €5800). *** Subscribe to our
